Michael Charles Rogers was born in 1972 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He's lived in Northeastern Pennsylvania all his life. He's also spent time as a journeyman in the telecommunications industry, living and working throughout the northeastern and mid-atlantic regions of the United States. He currently lives in the small town of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, a suburb of the City of Wilkes-Barre.

Mike is employed by the United States Federal Government in the Social Security Administration as a GS-06 Benefits and Records Technician at the Wilkes-Barre Data Operations Center in Plains, PA.

Mike is a hyper-creative person, constantly exploring new avenues and outlets for his creative energies. He writes, plays guitar, and rebuilds old office machines into Linux servers for this network. He also enjoys exploring graphic arts and design, web design, and publishing design for both printed and electronic mediums. Damnage Networks and Damnage Publishing are his primary creative projects.

Mike has been engaged to Mallery Atiyeh since May 2009, and they plan to marry in November 2011. They met in May 2008.

As of this writing, Mike has published a novel, Dead Angels Bleed, and a small collection of poetry with Damnage Publishing. He's currently working on two other writing projects, a second novel entitled Temptation's Despair, and an (as of yet) untitled novella.

"I don't care too much for writing about myself. It isn't in me. It isn't a part of who I am. If you want to know more, if you want to find me, then look in a novel I wrote, or a picture I took. I'm there. I'll only ever let you know what I want you to know in a conversation anyway; I'm more free to be me in a piece of fiction, and I can really be found in those words. Every character I ever wrote is a piece of me anyway, me and anyone I ever knew in my life. Very few people get to know me, that's just the way it works."
